Rain spoils Miracle's opener in Sarasota

SARASOTA — The Fort Myers Miracle's scheduled Florida State League season-opener Thursday at Ed Smith Stadium was rained out.

They were scheduled to play the Sarasota Reds.

The teams are now scheduled to play a doubleheader at 5 p.m. today. They will play two seven-inning games.

The Miracle's home opener is set for 7:05 p.m. Saturday against the Reds at the Lee County Sports Complex.
