The Fort Myers Miracle beat the Clearwater Threshers 4-0 to sweep the three-game series.

The win was the fourth in a row for the Miracle (10-3) and the story of the evening was Matt Moses. He went 3-for-3 and finished a homer shy of the cycle. In his first at bat he tripled home Felix Molina to make it 1-0. Moses would later score on an RBI ground out by Kyle Phillips.

In the third inning Moses lined a change-up into center for a single. Moses came up in the sixth with Molina on at first. He ripped a shot into the right-center field gap that scored Molina. Moses, however, was thrown out trying to extend his double into a triple.

In his final at bat in the eighth, he never had a chance at the cycle after walking on four straight pitches. No Miracle has ever hit for the cycle in their 14 year history.

Miracle starting pitcher Adam Harben tossed six shutout innings, allowing just three hits while walking two and striking out seven.

The Miracle, tied for first in the FSL West, embark on a nine game road trip which begins against the Lakeland Tigers at 7 tonight.
