Ruben Sierra joins Miracle

Major League Baseball veteran Ruben Sierra was set to join the Fort Myers Miracle for a rehab assignment beginning with Thursday night’s game against the Clearwater Threshers at Hammond Stadium.

The 40-year-old Sierra, who is rehabbing a quadriceps pull, is scheduled to join the Miracle for their three game series against the Threshers. Sierra, a 17 year Major League veteran has played in 2,172 Major League games and is a career .268 hitter.
