Special to the Cape Coral Daily Breeze TAMPA — Reegie Corona slapped a two-run, walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth Thursday night at Legends Field to propel the Tampa Yankees to a 4-3 victory over the Fort Myers Miracle. Chien-Ming Wang, on a rehab assignment from the parent Yankees, got the start on the mound for Tampa. Corona (4-for-5, 3 RBI) doubled to left to lead off the first inning and Jose Tabata drove him in with an RBI single to give the Yankees a 1-0 lead. The Miracle (6-7) scored three runs in the third to grab a 3-1 cushion. After Wang retired the first two hitters, Steve Tolleson walked, followed by back-to-back singles from Dwayne White and Whit Robbins (2-for-3). White’s single extended his hitting streak to a team-high nine games. Robbins’ single scored Tolleson after he stole second base. A two-out, two-run double by Erik Lis produced the last of the Miracle runs. The teams meet again Friday night. Webposted on April 20, 2007
