By Special to Fort Myers News Press LAKELAND — The Fort Myers Miracle picked up their first two wins of the season Wednesday night with a 5-4, 6-4 sweep of the Lakeland Flying Tigers in the Florida State League. In the first game, Whit Robbins delivered a RBI single in the top of the seventh to lift the Miracle to the win. Trailing 3-0, the Miracle came charging back with two runs in the fourth inning and two in the sixth, taking a 4-3 lead. Edward Ovalle's two-run homer put Fort Myers ahead. However, Dusty Ryan hit his second homer of the game in the bottom of the sixth, tying the game at 4. In the Miracle seventh, Steve Tolleson had an infield single to short. Tolleson stole second base and scored on Robbins' two-out single to center. In the nightcap, Fort Myers pounded out a season-high 12 hits. Tolleson made it a six-game hitting streak by leading off the game with an infield single. Juan Portes extended his hitting streak to four with an RBI infield single and Erik Lis had an RBI double. Cameron Maybin's inside-the-park homer and Michael Hernandez's two-run single put Lakeland ahead. Lakeland led 4-2 when the Miracle rallied. An error and three hits put Fort Myers back in front. Lis had a two-run single, giving him three RBI in the game. Caleb Moore drove in Lis with the go-ahead run. Portes' RBI single in the seventh capped the scoring.
