In just one hour, 59 minutes, the Fort Myers Miracle picked up their second straight win over the Dunedin Blue Jays, registering a 3-1 win on Saturday night at Hammond Stadium.

The quick contest was largely due to Miracle starter Jay Rainville, who tossed six shutout innings, scattering three hits while striking out three in picking up his first win of the season.

Along with Rainville, the Miracle offensive put pressure on the Blue Jays, scoring their three runs in the first five innings.

Juan Portes led off the second with a double to left, later scoring on Matt Betsill's fielder's choice.

The Miracle scored two runs in the fifth as catcher Jeff Christy led off with his first double of the year. Dwayne White followed with an RBI single to left that scored Christy. After stealing second, White scored score on a single by Erik Lis.

Eddie Morlan picked up his first save of the season, retiring all eight hitters he faced.

The Miracle will go for the three-game sweep at 1:05 p.m. today.
