DUNEDIN — Four Dunedin Blue Jay pitchers combined on a 14-inning shutout over the Fort Myers Miracle, picking up a Florida State League doubleheader sweep over the Miracle with 4-0 and 3-0 wins on Thursday night at Knology Park.

Blue Jays 4, Miracle 0

Dunedin starter Russ Savickas fired a complete-game three-hitter against Fort Myers in Game 1.

Savickas walked one and struck out three in his first victory of the season.

Erik Lis and Whit Robbins combined for the three Fort Myers hits in the first contest. Lis extended his hitting streak to nine games with a single to center in the first, while Robbins had a pair of singles to finish 2-for-3.

Blue Jays 3, Miracle 0

Solid pitching by the Blue Jays and a missing Miracle offense led to a Dunedin win in the nightcap.

The Miracle have not scored a run in their last 18 innings, including the 14 innings played on Thursday night.

The same two teams will meet again today at Knology Park, beginning at 7 p.m.
