By Special to The Fort Myers News-Press DUNEDIN — For the second time in nine days, the Fort Myers Miracle faced a major-leaguer on a rehabilitation stint in the Florida State League. John Thomson made his second rehab start coming off a right shoulder injury, tossing seven innings and allowing four runs — one earned — on five hits in helping the Dunedin Blue Jays to a 6-4 win over the Fort Myers Miracle on Saturday night at Knology Park. Dunedin scored two runs in the first inning, taking a 2-0 lead. After loading the bases, Miracle starter Ryan Mullins issued a walk to Josh Kreuzer that scored Adam Calderone, followed by a RBI single by Eric Nielsen that brought in Anthony Hatch. The Miracle battled back to take a 4-2 lead with a four-run fourth inning. The Jays took the lead for good with a three-run seventh inning. The Miracle will now head to Bright House Networks Field to start a three-game set with the Clearwater Threshers, who are in first place in the Miracle's Western Division, at 1 p.m. today.
