Miracle-Hammerheads suspended by rain

Sunday's Florida State League game between the Fort Myers Miracle and Jupiter Hammerheads was suspended by rain in the top of the fifth inning at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers.

Jupiter had runners on first and second and leads 7-2. The game will be completed today, beginning at 5:05 p.m. Today's regularly scheduled game will be seven innings instead of nine and will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

The bobblelection promotion still will go on as scheduled with 500 John Kerry and 500 George W. Bush dolls being distributed. For tickets, call 239-768-4210.
