By Daily News staff The Fort Myers Miracle and Clearwater Phillies, resuming a July 27 game that was suspended by rain in the bottom of the first inning, got five more innings in Thursday night before rain suspended play again. The score was tied at four when the rain started to come down at Hammond Stadium. It rained too hard, too fast and the umpires were forced to call the game because of unplayable conditions on the field. The game will pick up today at 5:05 p.m. in the bottom of the sixth inning with the score tied at four and the Miracle batting with two outs and Jesus Merchan at the plate. It is a nine-inning contest. The regularly scheduled Thursday game will now be played tonight, 30 minutes after the conclu sion of the resumed game. It will also be a nine-inning game. Today's regularly scheduled game will now be played in Clearwater on Monday and will be two seven-inning games.
