By Daily News staff FORT MYERS — It took nine days, but the Fort Myers Miracle and Clearwater Threshers finally completed their game from August 27 on the third actual day of play with the Miracle losing 5-4 at Hammond Stadium. The Threshers plated the winning run in the ninth inning. With one out Juan Richardson hit a ball to right that glanced off the glove of Alex Romero for a two base error. One out later pinch hitter Chris Klemm singled to left that scored the winning run. The Threshers used power to score their first four runs getting a solo homer from Tim Gradoville in the second to make it 1-0 and a three run blast from Ryan Barthelemy in the fourth to make it 4-2. The Miracle took their only lead of the game in the second when Ben Pattee tripled in Garrett Guzman and Pattee scored on an error off the bat of Kaulana Kuhaulua. Trailing by two runs the Miracle tied it with a run in the fourth on a Kuhualua RBI single and a run in the fifth on a Guzman RBI single. In the regularly scheduled game. the Miracle blew a 2-1 lead in the eighth inning and lost 4-3 to the Threshers. With two outs in the eighth, Ryan Barthelemy singled for the Threshers. Mike Floyd followed with an RBI triple to tie the game. Brad Correll's RBI single gave the Threshers a 3-2 lead and Juan Richardson added an RBI single as well. The Miracle now head to Tampa for a game on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at Legends Field. The Miracle send Justin Olson (7-7, 3.04 ERA) to the mound.
