The Fort Myers Miracle defeated the Tampa Yankees 3-2 in a resumed game and 3-2 in the regularly scheduled game on Thursday night at Hammond Stadium.

The Miracle came from behind to win the resumed game from August 4. Trailing 2-1 in the sixth inning, Alex Romero led off the inning with a single. Garrett Guzman sacrificed him over to second and then Elvis Corporan's singled him home. Corporan advanced to second on a throwing error, and Ben Pattee singled him home for the deciding run.

Ricky Barrett pitched four innings of relief to pick up the victory. He gave up just one hit while striking out five. Pat Neshek pitched the final inning to pick up his seventh save of the season.

In the regularly scheduled game, the Miracle jumped out to a 2-0 lead.

Pattee led off the third inning with a single. Two outs later, Guzman singled Pattee home.

In the fourth, Doug Deeds smacked a one-out double, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on a groundout by Pattee.

The Yankees tied it in the sixth. After Tommy Winrow led off the inning with a double, Jared Koutnik drove him home with a two-out single. The next batter, Rudy Guillen, drove home Koutnik with a double.
