The Fort Myers Miracle were able to complete one game on Tuesday night at Joker Marchant Stadium, defeating the Lakeland Tigers 8-7 in the resumed game from Monday night.

The Miracle rallied from 3-0 and 5-3 deficits in the resumed game for the victory.

Doug Deeds was key for the Miracle, going 3-for-4 -- falling a homer shy of the cycle -- and driving in three runs while also scoring two.

With the Miracle trailing 3-0 in the fourth, they loaded the bases with one out.

Kaulana Kuhaulua ripped a double to left that scored two runs. Felix Molina followed with a sacrifice fly to tie the game at 3.

In the fifth, trailing 5-3, the Miracle took their first lead of the game. Deeds hit a bases-clearing double to right center. In his next at bat, Deeds tied the Miracle career record for triples with his 11th this season. He already holds the single-season record.

The Miracle added a pair of insurance runs in the eighth on an RBI single from Molina and an RBI single by Ron Perodin.

Ricky Barrett worked three strong innings out of the bullpen to pick up his fifth win of the season and Pat Neshek worked the ninth to pick up his eighth save in as many opportunities.

The regularly scheduled game was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader today, beginning at 5:05 p.m. The Miracle send LHP John Thomas (2-4, 3.79) in game one and RHP Nick Blackburn (2-1, 4.85) in game two.
