By Daily News staff The Fort Myers Miracle fell short again Wednesday, losing to the Tampa Yankees 4-2 at Legends Field in game one of what was to be a doubleheader before rain forced them off the field. The Miracle opened with two runs in the top of the first inning, but the Yankees answered with two of their own in the bottom of the first. Tampa then added one run in the second and another in the fourth. After the third out was recorded in the top of the fifth inning, the umpires took the players off the field because of lightning. The rain started to fall shortly thereafter, but the game was an official game. The two teams will play a doubleheader today at Legends Field beginning at 5:05 p.m. The second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.
