Rain forces Miracle to resume today

The Fort Myers Miracle and Jupiter Hammerheads were six outs away from an official ballgame, but the rain came down and that means the two teams will resume their Sunday afternoon Florida State League contest at 5:05 p.m. today.

The game will pick up in the top of the fifth with the Hammerheads at the plate and leading 7-2. The continued game will be a nine-inning affair, with the regularly scheduled game a seven-inning contest beginning roughly 30 minutes after the end of game one.
