LAKELAND — After three days of not playing because of Hurricane Charley, the Fort Myers Miracle finally got back on the field Monday night at Joker Merchant Stadium for a Florida State League game against the Lakeland Tigers.

But they were unable to complete the game, as it was halted in the bottom of the fourth inning because of rain. The score was tied at 3, with the Tigers batting and a runner at first with nobody out and Octavio Amezquita at the plate.

The game will pick up from that point at 5 p.m. today and is scheduled for nine innings. The regularly scheduled game will follow 30 minutes later and is set for seven innings. John Thomas (2-4, 3.79 ERA) is to start for the Miracle in the regular game.
