The Fort Myers Miracle moved to within a game of a playoff spot Thursday with a 3-2 win over the Tampa Yankees at Legends Field.

The Miracle are playing the first-place Lakeland Tigers this weekend.

Jose Leger's RBI single put the Miracle ahead 1-0 in the second. The Yankees tied it in their half.

Fort Myers went ahead in the third when Matt Tolbert, who had three hits, tripled and scored on Luke Hughes' sacrifice fly. Leger doubled in the third run in the fourth.

The Miracle trail the Tigers by one game in the standings and the Dunedin Blue Jays by one game in the wild card.
