By Daily News staff The Fort Myers Miracle prepped for a four-game showdown with the first-place Dunedin Blue Jays by edging the Clearwater Threshers, 4-3, on Wednesday in Clearwater. The Threshers scored three runs in the fourth with two outs. But the Miracle rallied for the win. Trent Oeltjen and Kyle Geiger had back-to-back RBI singles in the seventh, and Mark Zamojc's sacrifice fly tied the game. Oeltjen scored what turned out to be the winning run on the play when Clearwater fumbled the relay throw. The Miracle trail the Blue Jays by 2 1/2 games with 11 to go. The two teams will play a doubleheader tonight, beginning at 5 p.m., in Dunedin. Webposted Published on August 25, 2005
