The Fort Myers Miracle tattooed the Tampa Yankees for 13 hits in a 10-2 win Monday night at Hammond Stadium.

The win got the Miracle (34-29, 71-56) a game closer to the Dunedin Blue Jays in the Florida State League playoff race. With Dunedin's 8-3 loss to the Sarasota Reds, the Miracle now trail by 2 1/2 games in the wild card race.

Five Miracle players — designated hitter Jake Mauer, left fielder Justin Arneson, catcher Kyle Geiger, right fielder Mark Zamojic and third baseman Jose Leger — all had multiple hits. Mauer went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Arneson went 2-for-5 with a double and a homer and three RBIs.

Anthony Swarzak pitched six innings for the Miracle to gain the win. He allowed six hits, one earned run, walked two and struck out three. The Miracle and Yankees play again tonight at 7:05 at Hammond Stadium.
