JUPITER — The Fort Myers Miracle fell to the Jupiter Hammerheads 10-3 on Tuesday night at Roger Dean Stadium.

The Miracle all but fell apart in the seventh inning.

With the game tied at 3, the Hammerheads exploded for six runs, but only one was earned. Jupiter sent 10 men to the plate and it started with an infield single by Angel Molina against Jan Granado. Molina went to second on a passed ball and moved to third on a single by Ryan Bear.

John Lindsay hit a grounder to first that went off the glove of Brock Peterson for an error, allowing Molina to score. Lee Mitchell's sacrifice bunt put runners at second and third, and an intentional walk loaded the bases.

Andy Roehleder hit a grounder to Angelo Fermin at third and the ball went off his glove, which allowed one run to score. Jose Campusano then followed with an RBI single, and Kevin Randel drove in two runs with a single of his own.

The final run was scored on an RBI ground out by Juan Figueroa.

Granado went 1 1/3 innings, allowing six runs — one earned — on five hits, while walking one and striking out two.

The Miracle managed just three hits in the game.

In the fourth, Scott Whitrock hit a two-run blast over the left-center field wall, his 11th of the season.

Miracle starter Anthony Swarzak struggled in his first two innings of work, but settled down, going five innings. He allowed three runs on nine hits, walked two and struck out six.

The teams will meet at 7:05 tonight at Roger Dean Stadium. The Miracle will start right-hander Adam Harben (7-5, 2.89 ERA) against righty Allen Baxter (0-2, 6.14 ERA).
