By SPECIAL TO THE NEWS-PRESS Adam Harben threw a complete-game three-hitter Monday night to carry the Fort Myers Miracle to a 2-0 win against the Dunedin Blue Jays in a Florida State League game at the Lee County Sports Complex. Harben, who also tossed a complete-game shutout July 17 at Brevard, allowed three singles, two in the first inning and a squibber in front of the plate in the eighth, while walking two and striking out nine. He needed just 99 pitches, 64 for strikes. The Miracle met a formidable pitcher in Kyle Yates, who was sharp in his seven innings of work, but who made one costly mistake in the fourth. He walked Kyle Geiger with one out. Mark Zamojc then hit a dribbler to the left side which Yates fielded, but rushed his throw to first and threw it away to allow Geiger to score. Justin Arneson then singled to right to score Zamojc. Yates went seven innings allowing two unearned runs on four hits while walking one and striking out 10, including six in a row. Fort Myers now heads to Tampa to take on the Yankees beginning at 7 tonight. Tampa will start major-league Yankees pitcher Jaret Wright, who is on a rehab assignment.
