The Fort Myers Miracle scored with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday to eke out a 3-2 victory over the Clearwater Threshers at Hammond Stadium. With the win, the Miracle pulled within a game of first place in the Florida State League's Western Division.

The Miracle scored in the ninth without getting the ball out of the infield. With one out, Justin Arneson walked. He stole second and with two outs went to third on a wild pitch. After Ron Perodin walked, Matt Tolbert hit a high chopper to second, and Arneson scored the winning run when second baseman Tim Moss couldn't make a play.

The Miracle will go for the series sweep at 7:05 tonight at Hammond Stadium.
