The Fort Myers Miracle ran out of, well, miracles on Thursday night, failing to notch a come-from-behind win while visiting the Brevard County Manatees in a 4-3 loss.

The Miracle have 13 comeback wins this season — including three in the four games leading up to Thursday's loss — and even tied it in the ninth, but Brevard County earned the win with a run in the 10th.

While trailing 3-1, Fort Myers' David Winfree drilled a 1-0 pitch over the wall in left to tie it with two out in the ninth, scoring Brandon Roberts, who had reached on a walk.

But Miracle pitcher Colby Miller started the 10th with a dreaded leadoff walk, and that runner scored with two outs on Alcidis Escobar's single down the right-field line.

The Miracle and Manatees play again at 7 p.m. tonight in Viera. Oswaldo Sosa will make his first start with Fort Myers after being called up from low Single-A Beloit.
