Naples Daily News The Fort Myers Miracle put some space between them and the Tampa Yankees atop the Florida State League's Western Division with a 6-2 road victory over the Lakeland Tigers on Sunday. Fort Myers increased its lead to 1 1/2 games over the Yankees, reducing its magic number to seven with eight games left. The Miracle just need to finish tied for the division with Tampa as they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. David Winfree blasted a solo shot to left-center, his 11th of the season, in the first inning to send the Miracle on their way. Webposted on August 28, 2006
