By Fort Myers News Press Staff The Fort Myers Miracle are in the midst of one of their best stretches in franchise history. During their nine-game winning streak, they have gone from two games back to 2 1/2 games in front in the Florida Stale League’s Western Division. With their new-found fortune, the Miracle put playoff tickets on sale. Fans must purchase all three potential Miracle home games, game one of the Western Division Championship Series and games one and two of the Championship round, as a package. The package is $18 for box seats and $12 for general reserve. Tickets will be held by credit card only and refunds will be given if any of the games aren’t played. Tickets can be purchased on an individual game basis beginning at 2 p.m. Sept. 5. Box seats will be $7 while general reserve tickets are $5. The Western Division playoffs are a best-of-3 series from Sept. 5 through Sept. 7. If the Miracle get in the playoffs, game one would be at Hammond Stadium with games two and, if necessary, game three at Knology Park in Dunedin. The Blue Jays host games two and three by virtue of winning the first half Western Division Championship. If the Western and Eastern Division Series are two-game sweeps the best-of-5 Championship round would begin Sept. 7. If either series goes the distance the Championship round begins Sept. 8. The Western Division team will host game one and two with the Eastern Division Champ hosting games three through five. Tickets can be purchased at the Customer Service Booth during any Miracle home game or by calling 768-4210 or online at www.miraclebaseball.com. Webposted on August 19, 2006
