Miracle's Lis named to All-FSL team

Miracle outfielder Erik Lis has been named to the 2007 All-FSL Team. The announcement came from the Florida State League on Monday. The team features the League's best players at every position including right-handed and left-handed starting pitchers, as well as a relief pitcher. The prestigious team is selected annually by vote of the FSL's Managers, Official Scorers and Club Sports Writers representing the 12 teams in the League.

Miracle standout and current FSL RBI leader (91) Lis was selected as the utility outfielder for the squad. He is the only Miracle representative on the 18-member squad.

The Oak Lawn, Ill., native is hitting .275 with 16 home runs. His 91 RBI’s rank as the second best single season mark in Miracle history. Lis has been named FSL Player of the Week twice in August and will forever be known as the Miracle player who homered off Roger Clemens in Tampa.

Dunedin’s Josh Kreuzer and Tampa’s Eric Wordekemper, were named the league’s Most Valubable Player and Pitcher, respectively.
