By special to the Fort Myers News-Press DAYTONA BEACH — After seeing a seven-run lead disappear Wednesday, the Fort Myers Miracle were able to bounce back with two in the ninth on their way to a 9-8 win and series sweep over the Daytona Cubs. Dwayne White picked up the game-winner at Jackie Robinson Ballpark with a sacrifice fly to cap off the Miracle ninth. The Miracle put seven runs on the board, all with two outs in the second, blasting off to a 7-0 lead. Danny Valencia kept the inning alive with a two-out single to left, also pushing his hit streak to eight, and scored moments later on a Johnny Woodard double to right. An RBI single from Jeff Christy made it a two-run contest before a fielding error by Billy Mottram at third base opened the floodgates for the Miracle. Erik Lis and Dustin Martin slapped back-to-back two-run doubles to help the Miracle post their seven spot in the second.v Daytona did anything but rollover and die, though, bouncing right back for three in their half of the second on their way to a rally that came up just short.
