By Glenn Miller The Fort Myers Miracle on Friday announced cancellation of the remainder of its Florida State League schedule Friday because Hurricane Frances was closing in on the state. "It's incredibly disappointing," Miracle president Linda McNabb said. The Miracle were scheduled to play a road game against the Dunedin Blue Jays on Friday and close out the season with home games today and Sunday against the Lakeland Tigers at the Lee County Sports Complex. An important note: Refunds and credits will not be available during the weekend. The Miracle's office will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The deadline for refunds and credits is Thursday, Sept. 30. The Miracle closed out the FSL's second half with a 30-37 record and were third in the five-team Western Division. Webposted 09/04/04
