The Minnesota Twins announced Wednesday the schedule for 13 free youth clinics in Southwest Florida from Jan. 7 through Feb. 18.

Only one clinic will be in Collier County, on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Starcher-Pettay Field in North Naples. That clinic is for ages 5-16 and runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Most of the other clinics are in Fort Myers, where the Twins train and where they're Class A Florida State League affiliate, the Miracle, is located.

The two-hour clinics require no registration and are open to boys and girls. Twins players and coaches will teach hitting, fielding and throwing. Parents are encouraged to participate with their sons or daughters in the sessions.
