Morales' hit earns Miracle 'W'

Jose Morales' RBI single broke a seventh-inning tie and gave the Fort Myers Miracle a 6-5 win over the Palm Beach Cardinals on Tuesday night at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers.

Morales and designated hitter Garrett Guzman paced the Miracle (5-10, 36-47 overall) offensively.

Morales with 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Guzman went 3-for-4 with a solo home run. Justin Olson pitched the final 2 1/3 innings, giving up no hits and no runs, for the win.

The win avenged Fort Myers' one-run Monday night loss to the Cardinals (9-6, 46-38 overall). The two teams face off again tonight at 7:05 at Hammond Stadium.
