The Fort Myers Miracle played one of their most complete games this season Wednesday night, blanking the Palm Beach Cardinals, 8-0, at Hammond Stadium.

Miracle pitcher Manny Tejada hurled a gem. He went seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits while walking two and striking out three. He threw 86 pitches, with 56 of them for strikes.

The Miracle gave Tejada all the run support he needed in the second inning. Kaulana Kuhaulua singled to left. He stole second and Palm Beach catcher Jason Motte threw the ball into center. As Kuhaulua went to third, center fielder Reid Gorecki threw the ball away to allow Kuhaulua to score.

The Miracle got three more runs in the third. They sent eight men to the plate and got a two-run double from Danny Matienzo, who later scored on a ground ball by Garrett Guzman.

Fort Myers tacked on two more in the seventh on a sacrifice fly from Kuhaulua and a solo homer from Felix Molina, his second of the season. They finished the scoring with two more in the eighth on a sac fly from Brett Tamburrino and an RBI single from Kuhaulua.

Alex Romero extended his hit streak to eight games, going 3-for-5 with a double and run scored.
