By Daily News staff Danny Matienzo's two-run single keyed a tie-breaking, three-run sixth inning to lead the Fort Myers Miracle over the Jupiter Hammerheads, 8-5, on Friday at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers. The Miracle had a 5-3 lead, but Jupiter tied it up with a pair of runs in the top of the sixth off Miracle starter Francisco Liriano. One of the runs was unearned. With one out in the bottom half of the inning, Felix Molina doubled. He moved to third on Alex Romero's single and Trent Oeltjen drew a walk to load the bases. Matienzo followed with his single down the right-field line to score Molina and Romero. After Doug Deeds walked, Garrett Guzman's sacrifice fly capped the scoring. Guzman had three hits to lead a 12-hit attack. Levale Speigner (2-2) picked up the win in relief of Liriano, hurling 2 2/3 innings and allowing just one hit. Pat Neshek pitched a perfect ninth for his fifth save. The same two teams play tonight.
