Special to The News-Press Fort Myers Miracle relief pitcher Erik Lohse was called up to Double-A New Britain, while pitcher Nick Blackburn and catcher Eli Tintor joined the Miracle. Blackburn came up from low-Class A Quad City of the Midwest League, while Tintor was promoted from the Minnesota Twins' Gulf Coast League team in Fort Myers. Lohse, 24, was in his second season with Fort Myers and was 3-4 with a 3.52 ERA in 33 games out of the bullpen. In 53.1 innings, he walked 15 and struck out 46. During July, he was 0-2 with a 0.79 ERA in six games. The 22-year-old Blackburn split time between starting and relieving while in Quad City, but started his last 12 contests. He was 6-4 with a 2.77 ERA and one save in 20 games pitched. Tintor, 19, is in his second pro season. He was hitting .277 with one homer and five RBI with the GCL Twins.
