Miracle washed out

Tuesday night’s Florida State League game between the Fort Myers Miracle and Clearwater Threshers was rained out at Hammond Stadium after completing a scoreless top half of the first inning.

The game is scheduled to be completed Thursday, Aug. 5, and will begin in the bottom of the first with the Miracle batting. The resumption of the game will be a nine-inning contest and the second game will be a seven-inning contest.

The Miracle will hit the road tonight for a 7:05 p.m. game at Clearwater.
