By Daily News staff Vincent Cordova hurled seven shutout innings and the St. Lucie Mets beat the Fort Myers Miracle, 4-0, on Wednesday at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie. It was the third straight loss for Fort Myers. The Miracle had five hits, all singles, and only one baserunner reached third base. Matt Tolbert had two of the hits. Scott Tyler allowed two runs on five hits in five innings, but took the loss for Fort Myers. The teams meet tonight at Tradition Field at 7 p.m. Webposted July 7, 2005 |
