By Daily News staff The Fort Myers Miracle could score in only one inning, the first, in Monday night's game against the Brevard County Manatees. But the three runs they scored in that inning were enough as the Miracle held off the Manatees 3-2. Brevard County starter Ben Diggins walked three of the first five batters he faced, then gave up a bases-clearing double to Brock Peterson and give the Miracle an early 3-0 lead. The Miracle have today off and return to action Wednesday in Sarasota. Webposted July 19, 2005 |
