Miracle's contest at St. Lucie rained-out

PORT ST. LUCIE — With the way the Fort Myers Miracle have played against the St. Lucie Mets this season, maybe it wasn't a bad thing that the finale of the four-game Florida State League series was rained out Saturday evening at Tradition Field.

The Miracle had won just two of six games against the Mets.

Since it's the last time the two teams would meet in the regular season, Saturday's contest will not be made up.

The Miracle will have today off before returning home to the Lee County Sports Complex at 7:05 p.m. Monday to open a series against the Palm Beach Cardinals.
