By SPECIAL TO THE NEWS-PRESS The Fort Myers Miracle are happy to see the Vero Beach Dodgers leave town. The Dodgers pounded out 28 hits in Tuesday's doubleheader and then smacked 13 more hits Wednesday night as the Miracle lost 6-3 at the Lee County Sports Complex. The Dodgers, who didn't need much help from the Miracle, got it anyway in the second. Anthony Swarzak gave up a leadoff single to Cole Bruce, who stole second and went to third on a ground out. With two outs A.J. Ellis hit a grounder to Brock Peterson at first. The ball rolled up Peterson's arm, allowing Bruce to score. The Dodgers exploded for a five-run sixth inning. With runners at second and third and nobody out, Edwin Bellorin singled to right-center to drive in two runs. He went to second on the throw home. After Ellis reached on an infield single, Jamie Hoffman knocked home Bellorin to make it 4-0. With two outs Chin-Lung Hu singled to right, driving in the final two runs of the inning to make it 6-0 Dodgers. Swarzak went six innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on 11 hits while walking three and striking out two. Fort Myers ended an 17-inning scoreless streak when Brock Peterson led off the bottom of the sixth with a double and with one out Kyle Phillips singled him home.
