By Special to the Daily News FORT MYERS — Mother Nature again wreaked havoc on the Florida State League again as the Fort Myers Miracle and Tampa Yankees were forced to suspend play in the second inning on Thursday night. The Miracle lead the contest 3-0 behind a two-run shot by Erik Lis and a sacrifice fly off Jeff Christy’s bat in the second. The first thunderstorm delayed the start of the contest by 21 minutes, before the second storm hit 45 minutes later. The Miracle have runners at first and second, with two outs, and Steve Tolleson at the plate. The suspended game will be resumed and played in its entirety beginning at 5:05 p.m. Friday night. A seven-inning game will follow for the regularly scheduled match-up between the Miracle and Yanks. New York Yankee slugger Jason Giambi is slated to be the designated hitter in game two for Tampa.
