CLEARWATER — Everything clicked Sunday afternoon as the Fort Myers Miracle pounded out a season-high 15 hits in a 9-6 win over the Clearwater Threshers at Bright House Networks Field.

Every starter had a hit in the offensive outing as the Miracle put an end to their five-game Florida State League losing streak.

Dwayne White got the offense rolling with his first of two homers on the afternoon, a solo shot in the second. A sacrifice fly by Danny Valencia and an infield, RBI-single by Erik Lis completed the three-run, five-hit inning.

A one-out, two-run blast by White in the sixth sent the Miracle to a 5-0 lead.

Along with White’s two home runs for the game, Brian Dinkelman and Edward Ovalle had three hits each, and Luis Ugueto added a pair of hits.

Jeff Manship, who tossed 5.1 innings, allowing four runs — two earned — on two hits, got the win. Tom Gordon, on rehabilitation from the Philadelphia Phillies, tossed the 1.2 innings for the Threshers, allowing one hit, by Ugueto, in the second.

The rubber match of the series will take place at 7 tonight. The Miracle will look to end the road trip on a good note by sending left-hander Alexander Smit (1-4, 5.55 ERA) to the mound.
