By Special to the Fort Myers News-Press VERO BEACH — A four-run top of the seventh inning turned out to be just enough as the Fort Myers Miracle held on for a 4-3 win over the Vero Beach Devil Rays at Holman Stadium. Half of Fort Myers’ 10 hits in the Florida State League game came in that seventh inning as the Miracle won their fourth in a row for the first time this season. Jay Rainville picked up the win, tossing six innings and allowing two runs on five hits, with six strikeouts. Eddie Morlan worked around a single in the eighth and a pair of walks in the ninth for the save, his 12th. Brian Dinkelman extended his hitting streak to eight games with a single in the seventh, part of a 1-for-5 day. Steve Tolleson pushed his string to six games with his first of two singles on the day, in the Miracle sixth. The team will meet again at 7 tonight. The Miracle will face another major-leaguer on rehabilitation as right-hander Al Reyes (0-0, 0.00 ERA) of Tampa Bay will start for Vero Beach. Righty Zach Ward (2-12, 3.14 ERA) will start for the Miracle. Webposted on July 16, 2007
