After two days of delays brought on by shower and thunderstorms, the Fort Myers Miracle and Tampa Yankees were finally able to play baseball delay-free on Saturday night.

The Yankees used three unearned runs in the opening game for a 4-1 win while the Miracle used a three-run blast from Johnny Woodard in the 4-2 nightcap victory.

The lone Miracle run in the first game came after a lead-off walk to Brian Dinkelman and a wild pitch from reliever David Robertson. Steve Tolleson picked up the RBI single to center.

In the nightcap, Woodard sent a fastball over the centerfield wall in the sixth inning for to break open the game.

The Miracle have today off and resume their homestand Monday against the Dunedin Blue Jays.
