By Daily News staff Fort Myers Miracle pitcher Adam Harben has been named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week. Harben nearly threw a no-hitter last week, going 7 1/3 innings without allowing a hit on Sunday. He ended up with a one-hitter, walking two and striking out 12. For the week, Harben allowed two runs and four hits in 14 innings. "It was exciting to watch him go for a piece of history on Sunday afternoon," said Miracle manager Riccardo Ingram. "He had great command of his fastball and his slider was biting hard." Overall in 2005, Harben is 4-4 with a 3.38 ERA in 53 1/3 innings. He has struck out 49 while the opposition is hitting .212 against him. Harben won Pitcher of the Week Award honors twice in 2004 with the Quad City Swing. He is the first Miracle player to earn a weekly award this season. Miracle rained outThe Fort Myers Miracle's game in Sarasota was rained out on Wednesday night. The two teams will meet tonight at Ed Smith Stadium for a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.
