By Daily News The Fort Myers Miracle began the second half of the Florida State League schedule in the same fashion they started the first -- all wet. The Miracle's game at Hammond Stadium against the first-half champion Lakeland Tigers was rained out Wednesday night, just like the team's season opener against Sarasota. The Lakeland game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Aug. 19. Wednesday's game was also Hurricane Awareness Night, which has been rescheduled for June 29. In other team news, three Miracle players -- outfielder Denard Span and pitchers Errol Simonitsch and Glen Perkins -- were promoted to the Minnesota Twins' Double-A affiliate, New Britain.
