Special to the Cape Coral Daily Breeze JUPITER — Fort Myers Miracle catcher Caleb Moore couldn’t have picked a better time to smash his first home run of the season. After the Hammerheads scored an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings, Moore connected on a two-out blast in the 10th to lift the Miracle to a 4-3 win Tuesday night. A pair of runs in the third began the scoring for the Miracle (24-33). Luis Ugueto and Erik Lis laced RBI singles in the inning for a 2-0 lead. After Dwayne White’s RBI double in the sixth scored Lis with the third Miracle run, the Hammerheads (25-32) finally cut into the lead a half-inning later. Former Miracle J.R. Taylor (3-for-4) picked up his second single of the night to lead off the sixth. After Gaby Sanchez walked, Andrew Jenkins moved both runners up 90 feet with his groundout to second. Taylor later scored on wild pitch and Sanchez closely followed on Colin Roberson’s single. Lis ended the night 4-for-5 with a double and three singles to go along with White’s two doubles, a part of his 3-for-4 night, helping the Miracle earn a split in the four-game series. The Miracle return home to face Vero Beach Wednesday night. Webposted on June 6, 2007
