Special to the Cape Coral Daily Breeze Heavy showers with more rain expected throughout the night forced postponement of the Fort Myers Miracle’s game Friday night against the St. Lucie Mets at Hammond Stadium. The teams will try to make up the lost game Saturday by starting a doubleheader at 5:05 p.m. with post-game fireworks to follow the second game. Friday’s scheduled starting pitchers will take the mound for Saturday’s first game. Right-handers Yohan Pino (2-3, 1.75 ERA) and Zach Ward (2-10, 3.18) will go for the Miracle. Minnesota Twins outfielder Rondell White is expected to continue his rehab from an injured calf as a designated hitter with the Miracle. White joins Jeff Cirillo and Joe Mauer as current Twins rehabbing with the team this season. On the disabled list since early April with the calf injury, White played two days for the Gulf Coast League Twins, going 1-for-5. The Miracle made a roster move earlier Friday when catcher Jeff Christy was sent down from Double-A New Britain. Webposted on June 30, 2007
