JUPITER — Fort Myers Miracle catcher Caleb Moore couldn't have picked a better time to smash his first home run of the Florida State League season.

After the Hammerheads scored an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday to send the game into extra innings, it was Moore who connected on a two-out blast in the 10th to lift the Miracle to a 4-3 win over the Jupiter Hammerheads.

A pair of runs in the Miracle third began the scoring. Luis Ugueto and Erik Lis picked up RBI singles in the inning for a 2-0 lead. Steve Tolleson, who reached on a fielder's choice, scored first on Ugueto's base hit to right, and Juan Portes came across on Lis' single to left.

After Dwayne White's RBI-double in the sixth brought home Lis for the third Miracle run, the Hammerheads finally cut into the lead a half-inning later. Former Miracle player J.R. Taylor, who went 3-for-4, picked up his second single of the night to lead off the sixth.

Lis ended the night going 4-for-5, with a double and three singles, to go along with White's two doubles, part of his 3-for-4 night to help the Miracle earn a split in the four-game series.
