By Daily News staff The Fort Myers Miracle rallied from a 4-0 deficit Saturday night to defeat the Lakeland Tigers, 6-5, at Hammond Stadium and take over sole possession of first place in the Florida State League by a half-game over the Tigers. Matt Moses, mired in an 0-10 slump, started the game with a strikeout, then got hits in his next four at-bats, including the game-winning single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. Matt Tolbert scored on Moses' hit. Moses, who had two doubles, finshed with three RBIs. Fort Myers and Lakeland play again today at 1:05 p.m. Webposted 05/01/05 |
