By SPECIAL TO THE NEWS-PRESS The Fort Myers Miracle are in sole possession of first place in the Florida State League's Western Division. Matt Moses — who entered Saturday night's game at Hammond Stadium mired in an 0-for-10 slump — went 4-for-5, including the game-winning single in the bottom of the ninth, to help Fort Myers rally from a 4-0 deficit to defeat the Lakeland Tigers 6-5. The victory allowed the Miracle (15-6) to leapfrog the Tigers (15-7) atop the division standings. With two outs and Matt Tolbert on second base, Moses looped a 1-2 pitch into center field to score Tolbert. Moses, who struck out in his final four plate appearances Friday night as well as his first at-bat Saturday, also had a pair of doubles and three RBI to go along with his game-winner. Trailing 4-0 in the third, the Miracle rallied for two runs on Tolbert's RBI triple and Moses' RBI single. In the fourth, Brock Peterson singled, then scored on Felix Molina's triple. Scott Whitrock's infield single scored Molina to tie the game. Fort Myers took the lead in the fifth on an RBI single from Moses before the Tigers tied it in the seventh. The Miracle will play host to Lakeland at 1:05 this afternoon. Miracle right-hander Scott Tyler (1-1, 3.79 ERA) is scheduled to face Lakeland right-hander Nathan Bumstead (3-0, 3.52).
