Cape Coral Daily Breeze staff report Oswaldo Sosa and Angel Garcia combined on a two-hitter Sunday leading the Miracle to a 2-1 win over Palm Beach. The Miracle have won five of their last six games. Sosa took a no-hitter into the fifth before a leadoff single from Jose Martinez. Sosa struck out nine in six innings. Garcia picked up his second save of the season, working three innings allowing one run on one hit, and striking out three. Both teams were unable to score in the first three innings but the Miracle tallied a run in the fourth and fifth. After a one-out single and a stolen base, Whit Robbins scored on a Dwayne White two-out single. Erik Lis had an RBI single in the fifth. The lone Palm Beach run of the night came in the ninth as Mark Hamilton drew a two-out walk and scored on Brandon Yarbrough’s double. The Miracle and Cardinals play game two of the series Monday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. as Zach Ward (1-5, 2.70) takes the mound for the Miracle. Webposted on May 21, 2007
